Price Action Toolkit: Multi-Timeframe Analysis
The Price Action Toolkit is able to plot several of its features on up to three different timeframes at once allowing traders to see the bigger market picture without having to constantly switch between timeframes. Read below to learn how to set up the Multi-Timeframe (MTF) options and which features support MTF.
Multi-Timeframe Setup
To set up MTF features from the Price Action Toolkit, go to the “Timeframes” section in the settings and enable up to three different timeframes you want to use.
Please note that only timeframes equal to or greater than your current chart will work.

Multi-Timeframe Features
The following features from the Price Action Toolkit are able to be used with Multi-Timeframe functionality:
Important Note
The computation of using MTF features is very intensive on TradingView. This can sometimes cause calculation timeouts. When this occurs simply force the recalculation by modifying one indicator’s settings or by removing the indicator and adding it to your chart again.
If you are constantly running into calculation timeout issues, try decreasing the ‘Max Distance to Bar’ setting under the ‘General Configurations’ section.
